I have a picture of David Quammen and I signing books to each other; his event for Tangled Tree was the night after my event for One-Sentence Journal. 😂
SO cool! And I saw that you hung out with his wife in the latest AHP - jealous and immediately added her new book to my TBR. I would love to be a fly on the wall at their dinner conversations :)
I’m happiest when I have something fiction and non-fiction going at the same time too! I adore Marilynn Robinson and was just thinking that I’m due for some rereads of her. Off to check out your other suggestions...thank you!
Great list! I love alternating fiction with non-fiction. I started 2023 with a bunch of Marilynne Robinson books. She’s a master. This year, I started with Rebecca Malaki’s new book, which I loved. And George Saunders’ earliest stories - crazy stuff. I won’t make close to 100, but I admire your dedication.
Nice to see some familiar books and writers here.
