"And wouldn’t it be a slap in the face to sleepwalk through our lives doing what is expected of us or what everyone else is doing instead of pursuing our own, particular desires?" YES EXACTLY. This resonates. The "what ifs" are hard...what if...there is not time, space, resources...what if I look dumb, or selfish, or crazy...what if...it's just too painful to hold out hope for unrealized harvests. But more and more lately it feels like, I would rather look dumb, selfish and crazy and actually do the things I am here to do. I read something recently that said, "What would you start if you knew you had endless lifetimes to complete it?" And that was some energy to get me going. Here's to dreams and desires, in the seed picking, the planting, the hoping, the supportive and difficult weather, and the realization of projects planted recently or long ago...Thanks (as always) for your digging and sharing!

Ohh this is such good juice as we say at our house. As I get older, I care MUCH less about looking dumb or crazy, but you still got me with the selfish one. Something to dig into!

Thank you for reading and sharing your always insightful thoughts ❤️
